Ian Thomas is a digital designer who works as Creative Director for Order Of Magnitude Head of Digital for Finn, a communications company in Leeds, UK. He specialises in interaction and front-end design for the web and mobile devices using technologies such as Flash, Actionscript, HTML5, CSS3 and Objective-C.
Ian’s client work spans regional, national and international brands as well as working closely with several exciting internet start-ups. His approach is user-focused and agile, using his comprehensive understanding of the digital medium to create exciting solutions for clients.
In addition to more traditional digital work, Ian is passionate about generative art and regularly experiments with using code to produce artwork for display on and offline. With recent developments in browser technology, these generative experiments are increasingly being turned into web-based experiments using JavaScript and HTML5 elements.
